It automatically identify your important mail and separates it from everything else, so you can focus on what really matters. Priority Inbox makes it easy for you to read and respond to the messages.<br /><br />Messages are grouped into three sections: Important and unread, Starred, and Everything else. This is the standard setup, but you can customize the sections in Priority Inbox Settings. When you mark a message as not important, it will move out of the Important section.<br /><br />In predicting important messages for you, Gmail uses the same technology that it uses to filter spam from your Inbox.
